Leon A. Brunet has practiced law since 1986 and handles a wide variety of civil litigation cases.  During his 28 years of practice, Mr. Brunet has handled personal injury, commercial and insurance litigation matters, as well as commercial transactions. He has consulted and assisted foreign clients with their investments in the United States, and has represented clients in personal injury, construction law, real estate, professional liability, insurance coverage, probate, subrogation, bankruptcy and family law matters. Mr. Brunet has practiced law in Florida and California, and is also admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, and before the United States Ninth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals, as well as before the United States District Court for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Prior to starting his firm, Mr. Brunet was a senior attorney with a state-wide Florida litigation firm. He has also served as the Managing Attorney for the TIG Insurance Group and Regional Corporate Counsel for Superior National Insurance. He was also a trial attorney with the house counsel for Industrial Indemnity Company, Co., a Crum & Forster company.

Mr. Brunet holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a Juris Doctorate from San Francisco Law School.
He has practiced in the State and Federal Courts through mediation, arbitration, trial and appeal. He is also a member of the Dade County Bar Association, the Coral Gables Bar Association, and the Cuban-American Bar Association. Mr. Brunet has served as a Judicial Arbitrator and is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Brunet is fluent in Spanish.
